What kind of car seat and stroller should I get?

I’m a clueless first time mom due in April. I’ve been thinking about getting the Travel System but buying each separately is fine too. Really don’t know what kind or what brand. Can’t spend anymore than $200 total for car seat and stroller.

This is something you will really want to research. Car seats & strollers are a big purchase, and you don’t want to be stuck with something you don’t like. Research brands & read reviews. Thats what I did. I bought a chicco car seat & stroller travel system (all-in-one) and I love it!!! It had great reviews and it was reasonably priced.

I would read reviews…but not on here. Go to babys-r-us.com and amazon. They have some good reviews.

  here is the one my sister got and i LOVE it! im considering getting it for our baby. the handle on the carseat is so much better and easier to carry than traditional car seats.

  try babies r us. i bought a matching car seat and stroller, but separately, and it was around 180.00 and i got a free 2nd car seat base. It is Graco.

  stay away from chicco – i didn’t know any better, so i got this horrible travel system and had to buy another stroller 2 months later cuz couldn’t stand it. I see it is very popular, however you can get smth more convenient than that.
