I need a recommendation on a good double umbrella stroller. My son just turned two and my daughter is now 8 months old. I’m so done with the travel system. Right now, we have a graco duoglider double tandem stroller. This has been great to this point, but it’s so heavy and big, we are wanting to switch to something, smaller and lightweight. Does anyone know of a good double side by side umbrella stroller that they would recommend? I would like something with a tray, if possible, but that’s not a neccessity. The main thing that I am looking for is for it to be smaller and lightweight and easy to push and use (and to def have the sun canopy’s on it). I would like to keep it under $150 if possible. Thank you!

I only have one child, but when when my daughter was in a stroller, i had a Maclaren. Loved it! It was so light and easy to move around, and my daughter loved to be in it, as opposed to her travel system stroller. I know they make them in double, but i’m not sure on the price. Mine cost me a little over $100. You should check ebay, you might be able to get a good deal on last years model. Hope this helps!

I have the Jeep brand side by side umbrella style stroller and I love it! It folds down very compact and the seats recline. My 2 youngest boys are 16 months and 5 months and it serves every purpose i need it to. Some draw backs, the canopies suck and are usless, and there is not any storage. I just stick the diaper bag on one handle and my purse on the other, this does not cause any problems for me. These retail for about $90 at toys r us. I purchased mine used on Craiglist.org for $35 and it was the best $35 I have spent on a stroller.

Most side by sides do not have trays. I would stick with a quality side by side Maclaren, Inglesina. Have you tried the Stroller swap? It is a yahoo group with mom to mom sales of used but never abused strollers. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/StrollerSWAP/ the database file has the ones for sale. Or http://www.albeebaby.com/maclaren-twin-triumph-2008-stroller-turkish-blue.html When you are done, resell it to get some of your money back. Check Craigslist in your area, or ebay. I can vouch for the condition on Stroller swap strollers they are picky mommas and Albee baby is all new product. Good luck!!
